Description:

The entire world communicates through the Internet, which is a complex web of interconnected Autonomous Systems (AS). Network devices are now orchestrated and dynamically configured to route traffic around the world. More and more companies are migrating their applications and technology to major cloud providers, and these applications are collecting and aggregating data sent by IoT devices. Regardless of the technology or use case, our company is proud to work on the cutting-edge, delivering these unique solutions to various customers, from local startups to enterprise telecoms worldwide.

In small, agile teams, you will learn or enrich existing knowledge of how enterprise software is developed, tested, deployed, and maintained in the cloud. You will gain a deeper understanding of AWS, Infrastructure As Code (IAC), and best practices for complete infrastructure monitoring and automation. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills by exploring numerous new technologies and tools through our varied projects and assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation of testing for cloud environments (specifically AWS) 
  • Developing infrastructure as code for cloud applications
  • Architecting and automating deployment pipelines
  • Linux systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and automation
  • Development of monitoring solutions and analysis across multiple deployments
  • Automation of development environments to assist Software Engineers
  • Assisting Cloud Engineers with their tasks

Required Skills:

  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with CircleCI, Jenkins, TravisCI, or other CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or other container orchestration technologies
  • Experience with Ansible, Chef, SaltStack, Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or other Infrastructure As Code tools
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and associated development patterns
  • Python, Java, or other object-oriented programming experience
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Strongly Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with implementing a cloud security model utilizing security groups, IAM policies, and VPS Subnet based security
  • Amazon Web Service Associate Level Certifications:
    • Solution Architect Associate/Developer Associate/DevOps Associate
  • Experience with Splunk, ELK, Graylog, or other log monitoring tools
  • Experience with Vault or other secrets management tool
  • Experience with Consul or other service discovery tool

Our office is in Longmont near Main Street - close to Boulder, not too far from Denver, and various restaurants, breweries, and distilleries around.
