DevOps Engineer / Jenkins Automation Engineer

Job Type: Full-time, W2 or 1099

Position to start immediately.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Jenkins Automation Engineer works closely with the senior SMEs and the client's team to ensure that goals are defined and met. Must be proactive to ensure client engagement objectives are met in a timely and satisfactory way. They must be able to handle the complicated technical issues independently, which may not always be centered around the area of their SME, such as OS or Network issues.

 

REQUIRED:

US Citizen only

Pass Background Check/Drug Screen

 

QUALIFICATIONS/MUST HAVE:

3+ years Jenkins experience

Expert with Jenkinsfiles

Jenkinsfile scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, bash or sh)

Experience with Jenkins jobs

Experience with Git

 

NICE TO HAVES (THE MORE, THE BETTER):

Experience and/or Certifications in:

  • Atlassian
  • AWS
  • Chef
  • Docker
  • JFrog
  • Perforce
  • PowerShell

Security Clearance
 

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
Ability to analyze and solve problems
Ability to demonstrate excellence in technical content design and development
