The Cybersemics Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to upgrading humanity’s sensemaking capacity. We are seeking a part-time, mid-level developer to join the team of em—a general purpose, structured writing app that is designed to help people come into a new relationship with their conceptualization process and develop higher levels of cognitive-linguistic complexity.

1. Implement new features, fix bugs, and write unit tests in Javascript using React/Redux.
2. Research, document, and propose implementations for larger features.
3. Track and document work using Github Issues.
4. Adhere to functional programming style (namely, no mutations). See Contributing Guidelines.

Job Description

1. 10-20 hrs/wk
2. $40-80/hr, commensurate with experience and geographic location.
3. Work under the direct supervision of Raine Revere, founder of Maiden Global, and former lead instructor of RefactorU.
