POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Database Developer/DBA will be responsible for the developing, managing and maintaining the data warehouse for CORHIO.  The role will ensure that data is available for use in a variety of ways for the health information exchange. In addition, this position will contribute input on new technology opportunities.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Continue business efforts to migrate SQL Databases to MongoDB
  • Provide ongoing support for both SQL and Mongo databases
  • Develop and execute an archive strategy that fits the business needs at CORHIO
  • Data warehouse design including creating clinical data marts to be used as a source for clinical reports.
  • Create integration packages and ETL jobs to facilitate the ingest and delivery of clinical and non-clinical data from source to destination systems.
  • Create complex SQL statements in order to retrieve data, insert data and modify data in an efficient manner.
  • Work with Product Development to Design, Document, and Build new products and solutions.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on existing internal and external data driven solutions.
  • Design storage indexes and tables to facilitate simple and complex data driven applications.
  • Day-to-day maintenance and administration of SQL and MongoDB server environments including user administration, back-up and recovery, and performance monitoring.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mid to senior level experience with database technologies
  • Healthcare experience helpful
  • Data Modeling experience with industry best practices
  •  Experience in SQL to MongoDB data migration
  • Knowledge and experience with MongoDB Robo 3T or similar software
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SSRS or similar software
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft SSIS or similar software
  • Experience with installing, maintaining and developing Microsoft SQL server 2008/2012/2014 Standard and Enterprise, and MongoDB 4.0.X
  • Competency with T-SQL, CLR and XP command as well as stored procedures and functions
  • Competency with data table partitioning and storage strategies for data in an RDBMS
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows server 2008/2012
  • Skilled in establishing a mechanism to harden the database environment conforming to industrial standards.

LOCATION

Offices are currently located in Cherry Creek.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard office environment with frequent computer use.

TOTAL COMPENSATION

Annual salary for this position is $90,000. CORHIO’s benefits package includes an annual cafeteria plan allowance that allows employees to elect various offerings and tailor the plan to best suit their personal needs. CORHIO employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 403b plan.  In addition, employees are provided annual Personal Time Off, Short and Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance.  Note: No relocation assistance is available.
