Bluestaq Cyber Security Engineers keep existing technical skills honed and develop new ones so that you can make substantial contributions to in-depth architecture discussions. In a Cyber Security Engineering position at Bluestaq, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at all levels, from developers, industry partners, to government officials and operational analysts to secure advanced software systems. And we’re focused on doing - we keep meetings to a minimum.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Security, Risk, and Compliance for large scale computing solutions.
• Experience working as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for cloud deployments.
• 10+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with Security, Compliance, and Risk Management.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud compliance and security standards.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Computing technologies and migration challenges.
• Experience advising customers on cloud architectures and designs meeting US Government accreditation standards.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability scans and recognizing vulnerabilities in security systems.
• Experience implementing security controls and the STIG process.
• Experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience with US Government compliance and security standards, including NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, ICD 503.

Desired Certifications: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP

Education: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, or an equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.

This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for a clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check, provide their Social Security number and allow the investigating government entity to access their tax records. If the clearance process requires a polygraph or drug test, an employee must agree to participate in these required steps.
