About Us: Sofia Family is a newly incorporated tech company based in Denver whose mission is to empower families to thrive in the digital age. We have innovative technology and interesting ideas about how to support the development of healthy digital habits that we want to share with the world. 

We have a strong 3-person founding team with 8 decades of combined experience in new business leadership, consumer marketing, product strategy, and integrated circuit design. We are seeking a talented and creative software development professional and leader to join us as a technical cofounder. You will own and drive the development of our SaaS product, and will build and lead a world-class consumer software development team.

Technical Skills We Are Looking For

• Cloud-based, web-scale application architecture with modern infrastructure and web development frameworks
• Manage the development and support of client apps across multiple ecosystems including iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS 
• Produce and maintain robust consumer software
• Experience with human-centric UX/UI design principles
• Data security and privacy (experience with SOC 2 compliance process a plus)
• Global deployment and multi-language support
• Home networking technologies
• IoT technologies

• Ability to work with uncertainty and accomplish goals
• Ability to select, lead, and evaluate talented developers
• Ability to identify and manage external development resources
• Ability to research and make strategic decisions on the breadth of technologies necessary for success
