You will work within the global Sales Engineering organization and partners across the business to align everyone to a shared demo strategy including operationalization of its supporting systems. You will be the single point of contact for the global SE org on content and infrastructure related to demos. To be successful in this role,you are naturally fanatical about developing, delivering, and curating all demo content, and have a fanatical approach to Customer Success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will build and bring together the alignment of Product Management, Product Marketing, Field Enablement, IT and Sales Engineering functions with respect to demo content, process, and systems.

  • Develop an operating model for flagship demos maintained by different organizations. The operating model should account for all stages of the demo lifecycle from design to development to field enablement, hosting, maintenance, refresh, escalation, and deprecation.
  • Lead demos and related artifacts through the lifecycle to ensure they are refreshed as new product capabilities are released. Artifacts include (but are not limited to) demo bits, use cases, delivery scripts, enablement tracks and videos, how-to guides, and feedback channels.
  • Establish a standard demo development process complete with demo owner, demo developer, product owner, expected deliverables and escalation process.
  • Document the operating model, demo lifecycle and processes.
  • Build, craft and execute a communication plan for new demo release, demo updates, and enablement in partnership with the Technical Field Enablement Team.
  • Lead with Product Marketing to deliver scheduled demos for Field Marketing teams.
  • Help triage and call out demo bugs, enhancements, performance issues, and infrastructure challenges to IT and demo owners.
  • Partner with the IT and SE Analytics teams to establish, measure and report on key performance indicators such as demo usage and infrastructure performance.
  • Collect and address feedback to improve both demo content and demo process. Establish a bi-directional, continuous feedback loop from Sales Engineering, Sales, customers, partners, and other stakeholders. Maintain open lines of communication between all internal, multi-functional partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • You will have at least 5 years of experience in a technical role at a software technology company
  • You are fluent in either IT or DevOps solutions
  • Experience supporting applications in a business-critical setting
  • Knowledge of Splunk technology (Splunk Certified Admin preferable)
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience and familiarity with IT management products and services
  • Experience with networking, server, application and development technologies
  • Experience with Python, Javascript, Shell Scripting are preferable
  • Domain expertise with IT operations, application delivery, security or compliance is desirable
  • Lastly you have solid interpersonal skills,love collaborating to make things better and you thrive in a rapidly growing company
