Four Winds Interactive is looking for a System Administrator to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for creating and managing all systems and infrastructure related to Four Winds Interactive’s Visual Communications Platform. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling escalations when challenges arise with tickets.

 

The compensation package will be aligned to each candidate’s experience and qualifications. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Platform administration (including backups, security management, user account management, log management, malware detection, and server resource management). 
  • Responsible for software deployments in Four Winds Interactive’s production environment.
  • Monitors Four Wind’s Interactive’s log roll-up system for security-related incidents that could impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data owned or managed by Four Winds Interactive.
  • Forecast capacity needs, draft resource utilization reports, and optimize infrastructure spend.
  • Identify and roll out new infrastructure technologies and methodologies.
  • Documenting and keeping up-to-date standard operating procedures related to the duties of the position.

Qualifications

Requirements for Success:

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience with Active Directory Administration.
  • A working knowledge of Windows and Linux-based servers.
  • Ability to write scripts in PowerShell and JSON.
  • Amazon AWS/S3 Administration.
  • Proficiency in system monitoring tools to perform database and application performance, analysis and tuning.
  • Storage Device Management.
  • VMware Administration.
  • IIS and SQL Server Administration

 

Helpful for Success:

  • Desired certifications: MCP, MCITP, MCSE, AWS, VMware, and Cisco Technologies.
