LucidPoint Cloud Security Architect Job Description:

As a LucidPoint Cloud Security Architect you will drive the design and delivery of world-class cloud solutions providing expertise on cloud infrastructure services. This includes taking a lead role in cloud security architecture and engineering practice for our clients. 

Your responsibilities include partnering with business-lead development teams and successfully leading the design of cloud solutions. You will be challenged to find approaches that enable rapid adoption of secure cloud services, drive transformation, and secure operations. 

What you should have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or four years of equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

  • At least 2 years of cloud security-specific technical experience.

  • Ability to work independently and communicate across multiple time zones.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers, scope technical programs, and identify technical risks.

  • High attention to detail and initiative. 

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with IDM, Vulnerability Scanning, and Security Operations Workflow/Monitoring/Alerting, and Terraform

  • Proven ability to develop new security policies that embrace cloud technologies and methodologies

What you will be doing

  • Using hands on experience to help drive process improvements

  • Be a trusted advisor for DevOps security initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice.

  • Plan, organize, and control multiple responsibilities to achieve project objectives; technically guide projects through to completion. 

  • Ensure deliverables are completed within target timeframes and are consistently of high-quality.

  • Assist with building security solutions in the Cloud

  • Validating security policies with code, automation and tooling

  • Merging cloud technologies with enterprise security policies

  • Working with DevOps teams to apply security to each step of the process in a fluid manner

Colorado salary range: $120k - $165k commensurate with experience
