Job Overview 

The Citrix Solutions Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and support of both SMB and Enterprise Application and Desktop delivery infrastructure(s), across clients of various size, differing needs, and physical locations. Most work can be done in a remote capacity although some travel may be required on occasion. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, someone who can work both independently or as part of various teams, be proactive, and flexible in a fast-paced environment. 

The ability to manage multiple client projects at a time, while staying organized and proactive in identifying client needs is critical your success in this role. Previous experience working as an IT consultant role, although not required, is highly desirable. 

The Citrix Solutions Engineer may perform the following duties:

·Assist with the building, managing and supporting of Citrix deployments for both SMB and larger Enterprise environments.

·Provide Escalation Support for Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Provisioning Services, and all related desktop virtualization and remote access technologies for both SMB and Enterprise sized clients.

·Create and provide customer documentation on System Architectures and As-Built configurations.

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent combined experience in technical training and direct experience 

Licenses & Certifications:

·CCA-V or CCP-V desired; CCE-V preferred; CCP-N a plus

·VMWare VCP6 Certification a plus

·MCSE Certification a plus

Technology Skills:

·3-7 years minimum experience as a Systems Engineer.

·3+ years experience with installing, supporting and managing Citrix environments.

·3+ years strong background in server virtualization; VMware required, XenServer and Hyper-V a plus

·3+ years of experience deploying applications on Microsoft Server 2008 through 2016 and/or Win 7/10 (32 and 64 bit platforms)

·3+ years of experience managing Active Directory including creating and modifying group policies, administrating and supporting Active Directory environments and ensuring that security policies are correctly implemented.

Preferred/Plus skills:

·Experience in supporting Citrix deployments and applications in a healthcare environment.

·Experience in the Administration of Microsoft Exchange/Office 365.

·Experience with Citrix AppLayering, fslogix or UniDesk Application Layering technologies.

·Previous experience working in the role as an IT consultant a definite plus.

Compensation:

·To  Start:  Contract-to-Hire F/T
