You will work with a distributed team in Colorado and Austria, developing web applications and RESTful APIs on Microsoft .Net (C#). In this job you will:

  • Participate in integrating Webroot’s security solutions into third-party management consoles
  • Collaborate in driving the use of Webroot’s online API services, and contribute to expanding the API
  • Assist our automation engineers in extending automated software verification tests and scenarios

You bring to the table:

  • Strong C# .NET skills with a firm background in OOP programming
  • Solid experience in designing and implementing distributed and scalable applications
  • Strong Windows knowledge regarding system administration as well as development
  • Strong Web development experience, including JavaScript, jQuery and UI frameworks
  • Strong networking knowledge, both on the programming as well as the protocol side (HTTP in particular)
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful web APIs
  • Fundamental SQL skills (doesn’t need to be an SQL expert, but needs to know how to write SQL queries on common SQL platforms; e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Open to learn new technologies
  • Ability to independently analyze problems and debug distributed systems

Bonus points:

  • Knowledgeable in working with cloud-based computing technologies (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
  • Knowledgeable in web service development in general, and in ASP.NET Web API specifically
  • Understanding of micro-services and containerized application design
  • Knowledge of IT Management systems and the RMM space
