We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Tech team in Miami, FL, Denver, CO or remotely in the U.S.

About the role:  

As Business Intelligence Analyst you reach out for the next level of customer satisfaction, innovation, process excellence, and employee performance.

In your day-to-day business you will work on cross-functional reporting projects, data modeling and workflow management, data-warehouse management, and functional data expertise. You guarantee that all the daily business data needs provide clear solution based approaches, additionally you always think of a new and innovative ways of shaping our processes and working with stakeholders.

Main tasks:  

  • Analyze/maintain the organizations KPIs as they pertain to the specific projects you will be assigned to
  • Develop new reporting solutions, work flows, and best approaches that will help scale our data model and strategy
  • As part of the global Business Intelligence team, communicate and meet with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for data and reporting impacts
  • Provide recommendations and operational insight on existing and new processes
  • Proactively and reactively monitor, and maintain changes to help enhancements our business strategies and collaborative reporting
  • Prepare concise documentations and specifications of DWH processes in collaboration with the data engineering team
  • Work with the data engineering team and the business as an intermediary for all business process that need to be translated into a structural data model
  • Define and build the data model for the US Sales Ops team in collaboration with other BI Developers
  • Create intelligent and informative visual reports or dashboards
  • Gathering reporting requirements to support the business on a day to day basis, support the global reporting team on high priority issues to support the business to make informed decisions
  • Create custom analysis to help the business make quicker more informed decisions
  • Pro-actively manage the business relationships with the various teams that you will support
  • Work as part of a global team to provide consistency with our main office and core Business Intelligence team
  • Support the global business intelligence agenda and processes to make sure we provide consistent and accurate data across the organization

Your profile:  

  • At least four years of hands-on experience in a role that requires rigorous project management, data visualizations, or business analytics
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL
  • Experience in designing, documenting, and implementing complex data models
  • Ability to build data processes, workflows, and scalable solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of data profiling and proven experience in reporting tools such as: Domo (Currently using Domo as our preferred tool), Looker, Tableau and other dashboard and visualization tools
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and how they are manipulated and used for reporting and visualization
  • Ability to grow and execute on both tactical detail and the big picture
  • Adaptive and reflective: willing to learn, teach, lead and follow
  • Strong analytical skills with proven experience of managing/ handling data
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all levels within the business; confidence in your ability to anticipate what is needed; flexibility and ability to use initiative
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to changes in the working practices and procedures
  • A wealth of business intelligence experience and working knowledge of reporting universe structures and processes
  • Excellent time management and organization skills and be able to deliver deadlines
