Position Brief​: Do you want to work on new technology and have fun doing it? You will be building world-class technology solutions for Community Funded. In the front-range of Colorado. If you like working on things people can see and use on the web, have a passion for philanthropy, and code because you love it - please apply. You will be building a donation platform for the world. Integrations with client systems, SSO, payment modules, and analytics will be key using SOA/REST APIs. You need to be senior-level AWS including CI/CD principles using GIT, Bitbucket, Code build and Code pipelines. You need to be expert level at Linux and Docker. Lambda expertise important in NodeJS for scripting. PHP is useful.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:  Build Cloudformation solutions with ECS Docker on AWS. ● Understand API Gateway ● Performance tuning of AWS and monitoring ● Manage costs at AWS ● Build comprehensive but maintainable environments at AWS for Dev, Test, Demo and Production ● Employ best practices around AWS security - role permissions, etc. ● Develop and refine internal utilities, patterns, and best practices

General:  Write reusable, testable, and efficient scripts in Cloudformation using YAML ● Take ownership of tickets and manage features, fixes ● Champion engineering and operational excellence, actively participating in the process of development and continuous improvement. 1

Qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from the field ● 4+ years of experience AWS ● Prefer AWS Architect Certifications ● Strong proficiency in Linux and Docker ● Understand web - DNS, SSL, etc ● Hands-on experience with performance measurement, analysis, and optimization ● Experience working in a team environment with source control and pull requests using Bitbucket/Git

Skills Set: The ideal candidate will have strong technical language and framework skills as well as the ability to work alone while being a team player. The candidate will also have keen listening and communication skills demonstrating professionalism, especially when interfacing with clients. ● Proficiency in Linux and Lambda in NodeJS for scripting ● Excellent presentation skills, exhibiting confidence with the ability to articulate complex technology in a simplified manner ● Ability to appeal to stakeholders as well as administrators in regards to presenting the final “product” before go live launches. ● Acute listening skills, matching the customer needs with technology currently available ● Ability to learn all aspects of the software in order to address the client’s implementation needs ● Demonstrate professionalism at all times ● Meet deadlines
