As an Automated Test Engineer for our Denver team, you will use technology to improve, streamline, and automate processes through planning, implementing, and monitoring of technology, and delivering automated solutions for software processes.  Work with development teams to help discover and eliminate problems by gathering requirements and implementing process automation. You will eliminate defects, errors, and problems with software development, as well as to improve efficiency and reliability by streamlining processes that are redundant or inconsistent.

You will...

• Integrate automated testing solutions into Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (QI/CD) pipelines.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

• Apply sound software design skills to our infrastructure code so that multiple systems can share the same CI/CD pipeline.

• Set up and maintain test systems, including Selenium and Postman.

• Work with development teams to assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines.

• Work closely with a source code control tool, preferably GIT

You have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

• 3 years’ experience in the following:

  • Working with Cloud technologies

  • Working with a DevOps team

  • Developing code, either maintaining scripts or applications

• 2 years’ experience working with an automated testing framework

• Experience working with VSTS

• Experience using Groovy DSL, AWS Cloud Formation Templates, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex ideas to stakeholders of all levels and within multidisciplinary teams

• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills for troubleshooting problems

• Organizational skills for mapping out projects, prioritizing workload, and keeping accurate documentation

• Maintain up-to-date of the latest techniques and technologies

• At least 1 years’ experience in the following:

  • Combined experience working with AWS and Azure

• At least 2 years’ experience in the following:

  • Working with Kubernetes in Google Cloud and understanding of how GCP infrastructure works

  • Working with testing frameworks including Selenium and Postman

• At least 3 years’ experience in the following:

  • Working with automated builds and deployments into GCP and AWS

  • Working with Bash, Shell, YAML, JSON

  • Working with Git

  • Working with Elasticsearch, Filebeat/Fluentd Kibana

  • Developing software in a structured setting
