What You’ll Do

• Ownership, architecture and management of AWS infrastructure components such as VPCs, EC2, S3, Kinesis, ECS, Lambda, etc.

• Deployment and management automation for cloud-based infrastructure and software

• Working with configuration management tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform, Salt, Ansible, and Chef

• Ensuring cloud-based architectures meet availability and recoverability requirements

• Architecture and implementation of cloud-based monitoring, alerting and reporting – Sensu, CloudWatch, StatusCake, ELK, Grafana

What You’ll Bring

• Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, with an expected graduation date of May 2019

• Intern experience with technical operations or software development; AWS infrastructure a plus

• Strong level of expertise programming in C#/ C++/ Java/ Python or equivalent language

• Solid understanding/experience of web services, databases and relating infrastructure/architectures

• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated aptitude in quickly mastering new languages and technologies
