About this Position
The mission of the frontend developer will be to create amazing technology that helps individuals explore and connect with others. At Let’s Roam, you will be working for one of the top 50 startups in Colorado as ranked by Built in Colorado. As a frontend developer you will help create new web pages, admin portals, optimize for conversions, and enhance the overall features of our website and app. This will include building and brainstorming new features that help drive different parts of our business.
Position Requirements
Deep understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic design principles
Substantial experience working with Javascript, React, & front end frameworks
Understanding of PHP and/or backend server languages
Ability to work and create new ideas independently
Ability to implement features quickly
Ability to effectively communicate
An entrepreneurial mindset

Position Description:
Web Development (40% of time)
Create and develop our website using the latest technologies (currently built in Codeigniter)
Ensure that the website is SEO optimized and has a virality factor built in
Optimize website for conversions using tools that dive into user flow
Maintain and improve Scavengerhunt.com/Let’s Roam website
Create landing pages for targeted ad campaigns
Dashboards (20% of time)
Create admin reporting and CMS dashboards
Work with sales to monitor pipeline
App Development (20% of time)
Create and strategize new features for iOS and Android
Improve customer experience in Let’s Roam app
Integrate web and app user experiences
Special Projects (20% of time)
Create and implement new ideas
Help with the launch of new marketing initiatives
Make our website more fun and engaging
Independent Learnings (10% of time)
Outside work hours the front-end web developer is expected to spend at least 4 hours a week learning key skills if necessary
