6 Week Teaching Fellowship (Contract Position)
Do you need a break from your daily routine?
Do you want to give back to the tech community?
Do you have a gap between contract positions?
Consider the impact you can make in just a few weeks at the Turing School of Software & Design.
Turing’s Mission and Vision
Turing’s mission is to unlock human potential by training a diverse, inclusive student body to succeed in high-fulfillment technical careers. Our vision is a world powered by technology where the people building it represent the people using it.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking to bring in talented software developers who are interested in working 6-13 weeks with our students. The Turing Fellowship is designed to make a high impact in a short time. We need people who are flexible, motivated, and ready to face new challenges.
What will you do?
In the Fellow role, you will be pairing with students, designing and teaching lessons, evaluating student progress, and supporting the instructional team. You will be on campus daily during the 6 week inning to support student learning and we encourage you to pair with instructors on projects you are currently working on. You will have the opportunity to weigh in on curriculum decisions because we value your perspective from your time in the field. You will have ongoing support and training on instructional strategies throughout the Fellowship.
How can you apply?
We are always looking for Fellows to join our team. If you are interested, please email Ellen Mary Hickmann, Senior Director of Programs, at [email protected]. Our interview process will include a phone screen, small group lesson, and code challenge. Each 6 week fellowship includes a $7680 stipend.
