What You'll Be Doing

• Test, design, implement and optimize objective speech quality evaluation model.
• Monitor and evaluate Zoom audio quality. Identify and track abnormal values.
• Analyze third-party audio test report.
• Build and maintain a test automation system for Zoom audio.
• Proactively detect potential audio quality issues through testing.
• Assist support engineers and developers to track and reproduce customer issues.
• Work with hardware partners to establish new audio quality specification.

Basic Requirements

• At least 18 years old, currently enrolled in a four year academic institution completing a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related STEM field.
• Familiar with PESQ, POLQA or other speech quality evaluation standards.
• Proficient with audio analysis tools.
• Detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated.
• Team player, ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to learn something new.
• A passion for Zoom's mission, vision, values, and culture.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of audio signal processing such as AEC is a plus.
