Successful candidate will be responsible for administering Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes that include Safety & Health, Environment, Business Continuity, Facility Security, Asset Conservation, Department of Transportation (DOT) and Pandemic Planning at the factory location. The primary purpose of this position is to achieve compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and Kraft Heinz policies/procedures and processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in safety and environmental management, preferably in the food industry
- Minimum of 1 year managerial or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA Regulations, DOT Regulations and Management Systems (i.e., ISO 14001, Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) is preferred
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Act as a backup for the ORM Manager
- Implement the Kraft Heinz Safety Playbook and Kraft Heinz Safety Rules
- Participate in the QRMP yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions
- Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the plant accountability list
- Drive ORM strategies that align with corporate objectives to reduce/mitigate operational risk
- Use key metrics to illustrate and affect performance in ORM at the factory location
- Communication of ORM factory results
- Participate in the annual ORM conference, quarterly webcasts, regional meetings, etc.
- Primary liaison to collaborate with Factory Management and Supervision regarding incidents that could jeopardize the integrity of the brands
- Knowledge of applicable ORM legislation and practices that impact the factory
- ORM financial budget diligence
- Ensure that the site adheres to applicable Heinz policies/procedures, processes and operating principles
- Recommends new policies or procedures as necessary
- Coordinates and assists with the implementation of continuous improvement principles into ORM elements
- Intelex Electronic Management System and HNA Share Point Team site user
- Implement Heinz ORM Management Systems and Best Practices as designed
- Provide training to management and employees to ensure that all recognize their contribution to improved ORM performance
- Ensure compliance with any ORM legislation
- Coordinate and attend any hearings on ORM matters
- Facilitates activities related to ORM controls
- Administers new and current processes and tools to ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local ORM regulations and
- assists the factory with these requirements
- Implement the facility's ORM Business Plans. Ensure action items are developed and implemented for process improvement
- Assist with Injury and Claim Management
- Meet corporate deadlines and completion targets
- Injury and Claim Management
- Facilitate Workers' Compensation process with diligence
- Drive optimal ORM performance results
- Assist and partner with business leaders on implementation of process improvement (Six Sigma / KHMS), including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation
- Assist with the supervision of the ORM staff including but not limited to performance management and employee
- development, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a food manufacturing environment desired
- Ability to multitask and work in a team oriented fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal, organizational, presentation and facilitation skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to grow with the organization and contribute to "doing what it takes" to attain organizational objectives
- Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment, problem solving and decision- making skills
