Job Description:

At Regions, the eDiscovery Project Administrator acts as the primary contact for enterprise-wide eDiscovery requests and is the liaison between internal counsel, paralegals, outside counsel, and eDiscovery vendors.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages continuous eDiscovery case life cycle which includes intake of matters, issuances of litigation holds, facilitation of the preservation/collection, and document review
  • Partners with Regions Legal team, both internal and external counsel, to recommend eDiscovery strategies and provide updates of case status and escalation of issues
  • Manages relationships between Regions discovery vendors including leading status calls, monitoring vendor utilization, requesting project quotes, and analyzing metrics generated by vendors
  • Creates and maintains all project documentation including data processing requirements, project workflows, production specifications, and search protocols
  • Acts as a liaison between the legal team, Information Technology, vendors, and records management
  • Exercises independence of thought, but refers more complex problems to managers or other experts

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Three (3) years of legal related experience

Preferences

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Relativity Certification
  • In-house Legal experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent time management and documentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge and prior experience of the E-Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track high volumes of subpoena and third-party request workflows from intake to completion.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, compliance, IT, business units) to gather and produce responsive materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all requests, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure timely and compliant responses to subpoenas and legal requests.
  • Assist in developing and refining processes for tracking and reporting subpoena activity.
  • Support senior project managers and legal counsel with ad hoc tasks and reporting needs.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements.

Additional Preferences:

  • Strong familiarity with subpoena processes, legal holds, and document production workflows is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tracking and documenting subpoena statuses.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating across teams and documenting processes.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify roadblocks and propose practical solutions.

This position is currently offsite and associates will work from their home primarily. They may be expected to go on site for meetings or other events as needed.  

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$69,517.25 USD

Median:

$92,540.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This job is not incentive eligible.
