General Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Growth Marketing team and drive the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives. The Director, Growth Marketing will play a critical role in accelerating user acquisition, lifecycle engagement, customer conversion and retention through data-driven performance marketing strategies and campaigns. This role requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You have a deep understanding of digital marketing best practices, data analytics, and a proven track record of driving measurable results through growth experimentation and iterative testing.
You will lead a cross-functional team of grown marketers, work in close collaboration with marketing leadership, product, and data teams and report to the VP, Marketing.

Core Functions 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies to achieve growth objectives, including new user acquisition, lifecycle activation, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid advertising, website optimization and SEO, email, in-app messaging, push notifications, etc.
  • Develop and implement growth marketing frameworks, processes, and best practices to optimize campaign performance and results.
  • Conduct customer research and analysis to identify key insights and customer preferences, to improve growth strategies and tactics.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success and effectiveness of growth marketing initiatives, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and engineering teams to develop and launch growth campaigns and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to drive team performance and professional growth.
  • Manage and optimize growth marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging strategies in digital marketing, and continuously innovate and iterate on marketing strategies.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in a SaaS environment, with a focus on growth marketing and user acquisition.
  • Experience in all areas of growth marketing, with deep expertise in multi-channel demand gen, lifecycle, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven track record of driving significant growth and achieving KPIs and business objectives.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing growth marketing frameworks, processes, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and testing tools such as Google Analytics, Sigma, Hotjar, and Eppo.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and inspire your team and peers.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.

Compensation

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $91,151 - $151,919. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.

This role is eligible for variable compensation, including bonus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment that is well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned with adequate ventilation and a noise level that is usually moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
