This is a part-time contract position (20–30 hours per week) with the possibility of conversion to full-time hire based on performance and fit.
Elevated Third is a global B2B digital agency and Drupal expert. We design, build, and optimize complex digital experiences that drive measurable growth for enterprise and mid‑market clients.

We’re looking for an experienced part-time Digital Project Manager (contract) to take ownership of a portion of our in-house maintenance portfolio—roughly 6–10 active retainer and project based engagements, with the potential to transition to a full-time role.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the growth and support program. Plan, prioritize, and deliver enhancements, fixes, and small projects across a portfolio averaging ~300 billable hours per month. Track burn and forecast capacity weekly in Jira and Kantata.
  • Drive scope, budget & margin. Ensure project delivery efficiency and maintain portfolio margins of ≥ 65 %.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies. Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand‑ups, and client sprint reviews; ensure tickets are well‑defined and QA‑ready.
  • Be the client’s strategic partner. Serve as primary point of contact; maintain NPS > 6. Identify organic growth opportunities and collaborate with Account Strategy to draft SOWs.
  • Coordinate a cross‑functional team. Align developers, strategists, designers, and QA specialists; communicate dependencies and remove blockers quickly.
  • Champion quality. Enforce testing standards, oversee UAT, and shepherd releases through deployment.
  • Continuously improve. Document lessons learned, refine process workflows, and share best practices with the wider PM team.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of digital project management experience in an agency environment, with at least two years owning maintenance or ongoing optimization programs.
  • Available 20–30 hours per week on a flexible schedule aligned with U.S. business hours.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and teams, balancing 600+ monthly hours.
  • Working knowledge of Drupal (or similar CMS) fundamentals and the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kantata, JIRA, or comparable PM tools.
  • Solid grasp of Agile/Scrum principles and the flexibility to adapt process to project realities.
  • Strength in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning; comfortable digging into spreadsheets and reporting burn rates.
  • Exceptional communication & relationship‑building skills—clients and teammates trust you.
  • Habitual problem‑solver who leverages AI and automation to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
Bonus Points
  • Exposure to Google Analytics 4, SEO, or CRO methodologies.
  • Familiarity with marketing‑automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot).
  • Basic understanding of web‑accessibility standards and performance optimization.
How We Measure Success
  • Portfolio hours managed ≈ 600/mo with ≥ 65 % project margin.
  • Average portfolio NPS > 60 and client retention on multi‑year retainers.
  • Timesheets and resourcing kept current with fewer than one follow‑up per quarter.
  • Demonstrated contribution to organic growth pipeline (identifying & scoping upsell opportunities).
Working at Elevated Third

We’re remote‑first—spread across four U.S. time zones—and united by our curiosity, candor, and commitment to measurable results. You’ll enjoy:

  • Flexible schedule built on accountability, not seat time
  • A smart, supportive team that actually likes process

Salary Range:

The expected hourly range for this role is $50–$70/hour USD. Exact compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and location. Contract-to-hire conversion considered after initial 3–6 months.

Pursuant to pay transparency laws in Colorado, California, New York City, and Washington, we are disclosing the base salary range for this role. Final compensation may also include other forms of compensation and benefits.
