Primary Job Duties

• Enhance and verify scalability and reliability of shared system components
• Streamline environment deployments and updates using automated configuration management and packaging tools
• Maintain and develop automated build and deployment scripts for new and existing systems
• Help automate the configuration of monitoring and log aggregation systems
• Continue to optimize existing production environment for better performance and reliability, including providing input for  application and infrastructure architecture as needed
• Provide input for capacity planning to keep up with the growing demand
• Continually seek to improve the system
• Be awesome, humble and willing to learn

Education

• Bachelor’s  degree in a related field and/or 5 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment

Required Experience: 

• 5+ years of intermediate to advanced experience supporting and troubleshooting with Windows Operating System and/or Linux (RedHat)
• 5+ years of experience in deploying applications in an enterprise environment
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux scripting technologies and toolsets (PowerShell, bash, Perl, Python)
• Experience with Infrastructure Automation (Chef, Rundeck).
• Experience with Private and Public Cloud services

Other skills and characteristics we look for: 

• Familiarity with networking protocols and ACL structures.
• Understanding of Active Directory and LDAP.
• Experience with SSL, DNS and CDN services
• Experience working within a high volume, high-availability environment.
• A team player, capable of collaborating in a fast-paced environment, as well capable of working independently with a high level of self-motivation.
