Web Designer (Contract to Hire)
Web Designers work closely with broader project teams that include UX, Development, QA, Project Management, and Implementation resources. You'll also manage and/or contribute to non-design related projects within our growing software company. Knowledge of web design, master prioritization skills, attention to detail, versatility, and enthusiasm for client success are cornerstones for this role. Candidates should bring a consultative approach and a "whatever it takes" attitude to ensure client success.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with the setup of custom HTML view pages using HTML, CSS, and Smarty
- Assist with creating, editing and customizing of reports
- Respond via phone and email to client inquiries
- Resolve client issues promptly
- Document and manage client design information
- Prioritize requests and respond accordingly on a daily basis
- Collaborate with Support and Development team as needed to resolve client issues
- Maintain professional demeanor
Who You Are:
- You value teamwork and can be an important part of an implementation team
- You have 1+ years of hands-on Web Design/Web Development Experience, or are a recent graduate
- You can work with the following technologies, languages, and design tools: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe Illustrator, CSS 3 and HTML 5 optimization is highly desired
- You have strong interpersonal/communication skills to set and manage client expectations
- You have organizational/time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You demonstrate attention to detail and quality
- You value usability
- You comprehend cross browser issues
- Crystal Reports experience is preferred
- CMS Experience is preferred
- PHP/Smarty experience is preferred
- Familiarity with ADA/WCAG web specifications is preferred
- Experience with SaaS based software company preferred
