Job Description

As a Visual Designer you will be part of the design team and work collaboratively across Sovrn to conceptualize and design in both digital and web design.

Responsibilities:

• Design experience in digital and print graphics to support our Marketing and Product initiatives
• Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams to develop effective messaging and supporting designs.
• Support the growth of our Community platform and programs with creative, custom graphics.
• Maintain and refine design elements on the Sovrn company website: www.sovrn.com
• Champion and maintain brand guidelines and library
• Work within Sovrn brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce our brand’s style or voice through visual touchpoints
• Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes and screen mockups
• Design logos, icons and infographics

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience with accompanying portofolio
• Knowledge of Visual Design fundamentals/principles including: typography, layout, color theory
• Learning-driven mindset with strong relationship building skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively brainstorm well with others
• Attention to detail and able to process a high volume of information quickly and accurately
• Proficient with Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Skill in illustration and image manipulation
• Understanding of web design issues, including browser usability and cross-platform compatibility
• Ability to proofread and suggest improvements to content
• Knowledge of motion graphic animation
• Strong working knowledge of digital graphic design process and formats
