Gtmhub is in the midst of a rare market occurrence: the creation of a new product category (OKR software). This is changing how companies all over the world organize themselves, and how they operate strategically. This puts Gtmhub in a unique position to create new ways for companies to organize themselves and execute strategy. Success for us, is when our customers stop organizational hypocrisy, untangle their strategic and operational mess, and ensure employees are recognized and respected for their achievements.

This position remote; except ineligible to be performed in Colorado. Eastern US preferred.

The Role

Gtmhub's RIA team (Research, Insights, and Analytics), led by Alan Klement, exists to help us answer the question: what must we put into the market, so we can attract and retain more customers? First, the team uses data, methodological, and theoretical triangulation to identify strategic opportunities. Then, the team organizes and delivers these insights to product, product-marketing, and sales teams, so they can do their best work. The team reports to the head of product.

Your day to day work

The UX Researcher role is all about learning what our existing customers want, and being an advocate for them. Specifically, you will:

  • Obtain, scrub, explore, model, and interpret feedback from existing customers. These data and insights will be delivered to the Product team, so they can best develop the product
  • Review data generated from our customer support teams
  • Design and deliver to customer support a way to structure the data they capture from customers (e.g. tell them which tags to use)
  • Participate in weekly Product value steam meetings. During these calls, you will learn what product is working on, learn what questions they need help answering, and update them on the data and insights you're gathering
  • Design generative and evaluative studies, create screeners, schedule interviews, carry out 1:1 interviews with customers, code interviews using our data model, put those codes into a database, extract audio and video clips from interviews
  • Create and present engaging reports for your stakeholders
  • Conduct usability studies
  • Conduct studies (Mental Simulation) to test how likely a product change will help customers make progress
  • Communicate to customer support what product has planned, relative to customer needs. In this function, you will also be the "voice" of product back to customer support.
  • Be a strategic and trusted partner to leaders and teams across Gtmhub's SMB, Enterprise and Partner value streams, whilst empowering and challenging them to think differently
  • Collaborate with Product Mangers and Designers to define research problems and work on solutions
  • Communicate the meaning and consequence of insights in a succinct and engaging way

  • 2+ years relevant work experience

  • Expertise conducting conversational interviews with customers
  • Ability to drive research by identifying and acting on opportunities to improve how we work
