UX Researcher

For this specific role, we are looking for a UX professional who specializes in user research and is passionate about conducting research. You love data and have a good understanding of analytics and related tools. You strive to understand your users and are adept at successfully communicating your conclusions to help inform product development decisions. Your empathy extends beyond the user and includes collaborating, mentoring and sharing knowledge within your team. You are self-motivated, and a fast and hungry learner.

 

In this role, you will develop user research test plans, set up user interviews, conduct user research, analyze research results, design and produce reports, provide design direction to the UX team by generating low-to-mid fidelity design concepts, and assist with user testing.
 
Responsibilities:

 

  • Conducting user research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, in-person and remote
  • Communicating research results and insights to diverse audiences through compelling and meaningful media
  • Collaborating with stakeholders including UX team members and Product Managers to identify and prioritize research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Providing design direction to the UX team via low-to-mid fidelity concepts and prototypes based on user research feedback.
  •  Conducting user testing of design concepts and prototypes
  • Synthesizing analytics data around usability and adoption of current systems

 

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, cognitive science, experimental psychology, anthropology, information science, or related discipline, OR equivalent experience
  • Online portfolio demonstrating user experience research process and deliverables (personal projects okay)
  • Demonstrated understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Experience studying user behavior and opinion through user testing, contextual interviews, observation, surveys, A/B testing
  • Experience with heuristic evaluation
  • Experience with generative and evaluative research
  • Demonstrated understanding of core UX Design principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced agile work environment
  • Creative outlets outside of the UX world a bonus

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
