UX Product Owner
NextHealth seeks a highly motivated and UX/Design focused Product Owner with a genuine interest in improving the health care system through the adoption of technology and data driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- The UX Product Owner will have the responsibility to help define the best-in-class user experience for NextHealth's healthcare analytics platform.
- Assess value, develop business cases, prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure focus on items with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product. Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
- Work directly with customers to define requirements for client custom development
- Review incoming work items to transform them into epics and stories
- Review bug reporting to triage, supply additional documentation as needed and prioritize fixes
- Supply release notes for client releases
- Work with the client services team to prioritize product features that drive operational efficiencies and help scale processes
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends
Qualifications
- Previous experience leading large UX projects as a product owner
- Previous experience as a UX designer
- Experience building data visualization products with a purpose of delivering insights
- Has a strong understanding of UX design principles and tools including but not limited to user flows, information architecture, journey mapping, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs with hands on experience.
- Experience with tools like Storybook, Figma, balsamiq – highly desirable
- Previous experience interfacing directly with customers for requirements gathering and refinement
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
- Familiarity with agile scrum and KanBan
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Experience working collaboratively with a software development team on the design and delivery of new product features
- Experience with Atlassian product suite - highly desirable
Other Details:
- This role is a full-time, exempt position
- Starting salary range is $63,000 - $85,000
