Wishlist Rewards is looking for a business-minded, product designer who is both creative and pragmatic. Driven by empathy and curiosity, the ideal candidate must have the ability to translate technical process into simple and delightful experiences for our users. We’re looking for someone who embraces the opportunity to turn a fragmented, but successful feature-set, into a cohesive and scalable system. A jack-of-all trades, our ideal candidate should excel at product design and be capable of providing design support and brand assets for other teams. The pieces are in place for us to see record growth in 2018; we need a creative and organized designer to help us put them all together.

Responsibilities

• Effectively illustrate and scope ideas, user journeys and process flows

• Collaborate closely with operations team to identify and design product upgrades

• Work closely with remote development team (ability to have a flexible schedule to accommodate team members in other time zones)

• Manage updates to company Wordpress website while adhering to style standards

• Maintain a design system with clear guidelines and assets for use in the product and communication channels

Requirements

• Previous work experience in UX/UI design

• A portfolio demonstrating a deliberate design process and ability to design for complex systems

• Experience using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision, Illustrator, etc.

• Experience in a high-growth, technology environment with web based products

• Develop deep empathy for our customers and use research to inform design solutions

• Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, visual way

• Demonstrable experience leading projects from conception to execution

• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS is a plus
