The Role
The UI/UX Designer will be primarily responsible for the design aesthetic of existing and future Beatport products. This team member will help lead the consistency and optimization of the Beatport technology suite, ensuring maximum usability and brand congruence throughout.
This role will work directly with product and engineering to create static and interactive design mockups, as well as leading user research initiatives to improve on existing products.
Our ideal candidate will conduct independent research on multiple aspects of products and experiences, advocating research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and personal design iteration.
This is a high impact role on a small, agile team.
This role is located in Denver, Colorado and requires eligibility to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship. Applicants who are outside the Denver Metro area and ready to relocate are welcome to apply, but local candidates are preferred
You will have
- 5+ years in a web/mobile UI/UX design role
- 5+ years’ experience generating complex functional requirements, use-cases, technical specifications, data schemas, user flows, site maps, wire frames, UI design mockups
- 3+ years generating robust prototypes with tools like UXpin, Hotgloo, Adobe XD, Axure, etc
- Understanding of the current capabilities of web development languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
