Alteryx is searching for a Sr. Product Design Manager, Design System. This position is remote-friendly.
Position Overview:
At Alteryx, User Experience drives, shapes, and innovates the entire experience throughout the analytical journey. We're looking for a seasoned Product Manager of UX to help us bring amazing experiences to our users across a variety of products and environments. As Alteryx shifts our digital transformation strategy to the cloud, it's critical that we continue to provide our users with the quality of experience they expect. From CX to UX, you will be instrumental in understanding, identifying, improving, and innovating how our users interact and engage with our family of products in both desktop and cloud environments.
For this role, we're looking for someone who has a passion for design systems and comprehends the importance of great design and its' impact on the user. This person should understand the way designers think and how design systems help them bring value to the products, and in turn, the end user. It's also important for this person to possess a fundamental understanding of systematic approaches to the design process.
Portfolio or case study of work highly recommended.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading the innovation of the design system.
  • Overseeing design and development of the design system.
  • Owning and driving design system adoption across the organization.
  • Understanding atomized systems.
  • Understanding the design process and how our designers produce.
  • Working within agile process, defining and executing roadmaps, and working through backlog refinement.
  • Overseeing the quality and adoption of the design system core components.
  • Leading adoption across the products.
  • Improving processes, standards, and innovation.
  • Evangelizing and ensuring adoption on both Product and Engineering teams.
  • Partnering with other organizational stake holders.
  • Overseeing all design system implementations - including SDK and 3rd party development.

  • Can systematically solve complex product front ends.
  • Has ample experience with design systems.
  • Great at communicating with stakeholders and leading presentations.

Skills:

  • Design systems and strategy.
  • Effective communication.
  • Presenting/public speaking.
  • Project management.
  • Roadmap definition and execution.
  • Comfortability with front-end technologies.
  • Agile or similar frameworks for development


Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in product management.
  • Deep understanding of software and user experience.
  • A career focus in digital experiences and products.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.


Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Broomfield, Colorado is $101,700 - $172,900. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
