  • Generating and communicating tactical and strategic insights, as well as meaningful recommendations which drive product innovation and design improvements for users
  • Partnering with our quantitative UX and analytics partners to provide qualitative context for their quantitative insights, fueling the why behind the what
  • Mastering quick but compelling ways to present, and evangelize results and recommendations throughout the company, in order to help cultivate a more effective and more empathetic organization
  • Assisting in democratizing research, helping teammates to up-level their research skills and research quality
What we're looking for:

  • Meticulous eye for detail
  • Strong listening, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm for sharing the tips and tricks of research with the wider CircleCI community
Bonus points:
  • Graduate degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, Cognitive Science, or a related field
  • Strong experience driving results in DevOps/ Developer Tools
  • Rich understanding of quantitative methods, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts
  • Design thinking methods and facilitation
  • Visual communication and information design chops
  • Experience teaching research concepts to those without a strong research background
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools, workplace dynamics, decision-making topics
  • Experience working on distributed teams
