We are currently looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our Denver, CO based team. As User Experience Researcher you will play an integral role in supporting PointsBet's continued growth and success.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Design and conduct research studies using appropriate research methods for the project, stakeholders, and business needs.
• Work with UX designers and stakeholders to ideate design solutions based on research findings.
• Establish, lead and support the design and implementation of research process and best practices.
• Use data insight tools (E.g. Heap Analytics) to track user insights, and analyse trends.
• Define and measure baseline UX Metrics - work with internal stakeholders to determine and benchmark for continual and ongoing measurement
• Work with Data scientist on task analysis, conversion events and funnels - Define, measure and track.
• Build and maintain a repository of research and test participants.
• Synthesize insights into actionable guidance for strategic initiatives.
• Make trade-offs and prioritize research across various business goals and stakeholder asks.
• Prepare and deliver easy-to-understand, well-designed research plans and findings to key stakeholders.
• Educate team members on the use of new tools.
• Educate & evangelize internally on the importance of UX research.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define a research roadmap that addresses complex and ambiguous spaces with clear and impactful research questions.

SKILLS WE SEEK

• Bachelor's degree required. (but will consider equivalents and/or demonstrated long-term experience).
• 5 years' plus experience in a UX Researcher role or similar roles within product development environments.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of both generative and evaluative research methods such as journey mapping, card sorting, tree testing, usability testing, interviews, and surveys.
• Solid understanding of UX & UI best practice, first principles, and heuristic evaluation.
• Strong communicator with the ability to effectively synthesize, visualize, and communicate research results and your ideas to others.
• A self-starter comfortable with autonomy, self-accountability, and intrinsic motivation to take the initiative.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of product development and different development strategies.
• Comfortable in a fast paced constantly changing environment.
• Experience using tools such as Lookback, Dovetail, Qualtrics, ...

Extras:
Master's or PhD degree in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Statistics, or related field.
