Job Description:

As a Senior UX/Product Designer, you will work closely with designers, PMs, and engineers on multiple initiatives simultaneously. The successful candidate will have a deep portfolio of product design at all levels of fidelity from rough sketches to final spec documents, with a specific emphasis on process and design thinking. You are a highly collaborative individual who is capable of communicating and working on cross-functional teams. You have a passion for UX and have a good sense of design trends and aesthetics.
This is not an entry-level position. You must be able to work independently on multiple projects, engaging at all levels of the organization from individual contributors to executive staff.
As a Senior UX Designer, you will
- Work as an integral part of global product and engineering teams to deliver high-fidelity designs
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented to spec
- Create detailed design specs and document design work meticulously
- Communicate your designs to a broad audience
- Help maintain and improve successful UX processes that result in concrete product success
- Test current designs by collecting user feedback and pivoting when necessary
- Help track the progress and success of implemented designs
- Learn and understand the industry to bring new and innovative ideas to our products
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product development such as apps, desktop, web, and/or digital ecosystems
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates UX proficiency and Design Thinking
- Excellent communication skills to be able to explain design concepts to execs, PMs, devs, and fellow designers
- Flexibility with time zones and ability to communicate with remote teams effectively using digital collaboration tools
- Proficiency in common design applications (Sketch & Invision)
- Flexibility to learn new design tools quickly
- Ability to design at all levels of fidelity from pen and paper, to low and high fidelity mockups and prototypes
- Highly collaborative, self-motivated, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Interest in complex systems and desire to learn and understand complexity
- Highly adaptable and able to pivot on projects with short notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing B2B SaaS products
- Experience using Abstract - a design workflow management tool
- Experience building successful design systems
- Experience with user research and user testing
- Experience working with remote teams
