Job Summary:

Hotel Engine seeks a Senior UX designer to join our rapidly growing team. As a senior designer, your experience will help lead our UX projects to create hi-fi solutions to pitch to our product, engineering and operations teams. Our team is small but focused on shipping quality product and we want to add a self-starter who truly enjoys software design, product ownership, solving problems, and learning something new every day.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers
  • Communicate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Prototype experiences with assembled wireframes
  • Assemble production ready layouts using components from our existing library or creating new one 
  • Be an advocate for our users

Requirements:

  • 5+ years as a UX/UI designer, preferably in the B2B space
  • Team leadership experience
  • Strong experience in design software - Figma preferred
  • Ability to design for a multitude of platforms (web, iOS, Android, etc)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other frontend technologies
  • BS in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
