An Insider's view of Project UV

What’s the vibe like in the office?

The energy here is grounded in collaboration and open dialogue. Our team is committed to connecting and building relationships between different but intersecting areas. As a scrum master, I engage in many cross-section conversations where business stakeholders connect with dev and product. And this makes for a dynamic and satisfying way of working.

What does your typical day look like?

I'm part of the "not so regular" sales team. I work in sales, yes, but we're in stealth mode so it's far from a cold calling account rep. My typical day is ever changing - you'll find me huddling with the team to brainstorm new & crazy ways to share our story, understand market problems, and quite frankly, change the way we work. It's pretty cool.

Zaina

Internal Sales

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I gained agile software development experience, fostered valuable expertise in microservices, had the opportunity to work with cloud data analytics. The team provided great learning opportunities for my growth in developing reliable, secure and scalable software with the latest technologies, such as ElasticSearch, Spark etc.

Zhenzhen

Software Engineer

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

We're a close knit team - there's no hesitation in saying crazy ideas in meetings or trying something completely new. We don't just want that, we need it. Each member of this team brings a unique perspective that shapes where we're going and builds our vision into reality. It's not always easy, but it's a lot of fun.

Geoff

Head of Commercial Product

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

As part of the product team, we help bridge the gap between customer needs & engineered solutions. We get to ideate & innovate while also collaborate & consider pragmatic execution plans. By uniting people, process, & technology, we play a critical role in defining Ultraviolet’s digital transformation products and bring them to fruition.
