Job Description

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer who can collaborate with our development team, technical partners and project management to generate exceptional design for our industry disrupting application. This person will need to be able to examine the current application and provide an audit of design improvements based on use case specific scenarios.

 

This position comes with a starting salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 depending on qualifications and offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Remote Work Friday, Flexible Time Off, Health, and Dental as well as an On-Site Gym, Personal Trainer, Yoga Classes, Chiropractor, and Massage Therapist.


 

Responsibilities

  • Design feature concepts for application projects as a part of the planning built meetings. This may include websites, mobile experiences, or other touch-points.

  • Work in close collaboration with Development and Product Management team to develop initial strategy—addressing product, brand, marketing, content, and overall user experience.

  • Conduct user research including contextual interviews and usability testing, and present findings.

  • Create internal and external deliverables including conceptual diagrams, site maps, interaction flows, storyboards, schematics/wireframes, and detailed functional specifications.

  • Work iteratively; develop ideas from sketches to prototypes.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with background in Wire-framing, Information Architecture, User experience and UI Design for web and mobile interfaces.

  • Strong knowledge of  HTML5 / CSS3.

  • Experience designing and conducting user research, including contextual inquiry and usability testing.

  • Excellent deliverables including prototypes, detailed page schematics, sketches, interaction flows, site maps, navigation systems, and web-appropriate writing.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with technical issues and ability to work constructively with engineering teams.  Knowledge of and familiarity with PHP code base is preferred.

  • Experience leading, managing and coordinating teams & efforts.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and solve problems proactively.
