About Parsyl

Parsyl is an early-stage, venture-backed technology platform that was founded with the mission to improve health and save money by providing a better way to ensure the integrity of sensitive goods as they are shipped around the globe. We do this by combining proprietary sensing devices with powerful predictive data analytics to offer an unprecedented view of quality assurance and risk dynamics.

If you get excited thinking about joining a company whose technology will help answer questions like: “Should I give this vaccine to a child?” and “Is this seafood safe to eat?”- we’re looking for you.

Where you fit in:

As an early member of a fast-growing startup, you will wear many hats, from user research to building high-fidelity prototypes to supporting the design of marketing materials. You will contribute both to the big picture of Parsyl’s road map, as well as make critical, tactical decisions that will drive our evolution and growth.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in product design, user testing and research, UX / interaction design, and visual design

  • Ready and willing to get your hands dirty and wear many hats in a fast-paced and ever changing startup environment

  • Experience in building products from scratch and iterating on existing projects

  • Excitement about working in an environment of fast feedback loops and a mindset of rapid prototyping and iteration

  • Able to take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something valuable for our customers

  • Expert understanding and application of user-centered design methods and principles

  • Extraordinary communication and leadership skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions

  • Expertise in design facilitation, with a solid understanding of research techniques and best practice

  • Experience working closely with engineering and product management teams

BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE...

  • Experience with hardware / connected devices

  • Experience designing data-intensive B2B applications

  • Experience with front-end programming

  • Experience designing for mobile (including Android)

  • Helped to grow a design team from scratch

  • Interest in organization design
