Job Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to help create intuitive and impactful product experiences across our customers' journey with Sling. As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with product managers and engineers to solve customer problems in an agile environment. You will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from high-level product strategy, to leading and facilitating user testing and discovery efforts, to tweaking pixels right before launch. Your success will be measured by the experiences that your team ships and the outcomes they deliver for customers and the business.
The role is based in Sling TV's Denver, CO area.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate and iterate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to design and deliver elegant but practical solutions that delight customers
- Rapidly produce multiple solutions, from sketches, wireframes, and user flows to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes, depending on the level of detail needed to present and communicate proposed solutions and interaction flows that will resonate with our target audience
- Conduct user tests, research, and experiments to capture and understand real users' motivations, goals, and pain points; facilitate design sprints and other discovery sessions as needed
- Dig into product analytics data, customer service contacts, and social media feedback to monitor current product usage patterns and identify future areas of enhancement
- Be responsible for all customer touchpoints and interactions within your team's scope across all television platforms, web, tablet, and mobile devices
- Present your work to various stakeholders, explaining your creative process and how your final design aligns with the product goals
- Provide UX specs, assets, interactive prototypes and design requirements for engineering delivery
- QA development builds from a design perspective and relay update requests.
- Actively mentor and critique others' work to elevate the team's standards
- Integrate UX best practices into the daily routine of the cross-functional product team
- Continuously evangelize their product domain and customer-centricity throughout the organization
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Design experience at a consumer-focused product companies with a track record of shipping many features/products over the years
- Strong visual design skills and clean command over information architecture and interaction design
- Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping
- Experience working with design systems (styles, components, libraries)
- Extensive experience conducting user testing and research
- Passion for digital video, streaming, and TV industries
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and effectively across all functions and levels of the org
- Experience driving the design process end to end and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to discover the solutions that exceed user expectations
- Sees customer problems as opportunities and obsesses over finding the best solution
- Fluent in the latest design trends and UX best practices
- Experience working in an Lean/Agile environment
- Online portfolio that shows strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Kind, friendly and enjoy working with people to accomplish goals

Salary Range
Compensation: $125,000.00/Year - $170,000.00/Year
