About the Team VIZIO's Product Software group is seeking a Senior Mobile Product Designer to join the growing UX/UI team. You will collaborate with the SmartCast software & hardware team to develop beautiful, intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions for the SmartCast mobile app for iOS and Android. What You Will Do

• Lead UX/UI initiatives for the SmartCast mobile app
• Provide innovative and efficient solutions based on research, analysis, and competitive reviews
• Adapt SmartCast TV design language and experience to mobile platforms
• Create design deliverables such as specifications, process flows, wireframes, and mockups
• Respond to day-to-day questions from developers, product managers and project managers. Also identify, document, and verify bug fixes

About You

• Bachelor's or higher degree in design or related field preferred
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Provide critical thinking and an innovative approach to design
• Self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Hard-working team player, with a "no task is too small" attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong design skills, with a good understanding of typography, usability, and mobile platform design requirements, and a pixel-level attention to detail
• Ability to break down any design problems and solve them with clarity and precision
• Strong ability to recognize and develop use-cases, user interaction models, user needs, business requirements, and incorporate them into designs
• Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, front-end web technologies
• Strong portfolio with related work examples
• Expert in Sketch
• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, Zepelin and Framer
• Adept in iOS and Android patterns and HIG
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS
• Ability to design 10ft experiences a major plus
