Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive the change to transform the existing SaaS code base to a modern, scalable front-end framework
• Collaborate with UX designers, product teams and full-stack engineers to improve front-end practices and implementation
• Build, manage and own the CSS framework, refactoring and re-architecting as needed
• Be the technical go-to when it comes to semantic HTML and scalable CSS
• Be the resident expert in JavaScript technologies, particularly Vue and React
• Be an active, contributing member, and front-end representative of a cross-functional team to define the mobile strategy for the organization
• Create modular UI controls and components, with accompanying documentation, that can be used by multiple teams
• Drive the execution and adoption of the ZOLL design system
• Work closely with engineers to train, implement, and adopt common UI components
• Effectively communicate changes, improvements and functionality to designers, product teams, engineers and architects

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with at least two years functioning as team lead
• Proven expertise in effective implementation of HTML and CSS to create valid, accessible, semantic markup
• Expertise in Vue and React, and current JavaScript best practices
• Solid understanding of professional methodologies and best practices used to develop and implement a complex front-end environment
• Team player with experience working in an Agile environment on a Scrum team
• User-centric mindset, with background working on or with user experience teams
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member of a team
• College degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Skills:

• Well versed in accessibility best practices
• Experience in enterprise level SaaS environments
• Experience in transitioning enterprise to SaaS
