A typical day at Ria

_{Make data-driven design decisions}

_{Map user journeys and flows}

_{Sketch, wireframe and mockup screens and user flows iteratively, in varying degrees of fidelity}

_{Prepare and present design proposals to the team}

_{Preparing screens and components for handoff to the engineering team}

_{Work directly with the product and engineering teams to better understand the technical aspects and business needs, and help them better understand the user needs}

_{Engage in backlog negotiation along with your product and engineering peers}

You Are:

_{Inquisitive and a critical thinker}

_{Organized, perhaps some what obsessive}

_{Curious, especially about what drives people to behave a certain way and what goes into their decision-making process}

_{Able to articulate the “why” behind your design decisions clearly to the team and other stakeholders}

_{Familiar with design thinking and human-centered methodologies or philosophies}

_{Atomic design principles are second nature to you}

_{An avid user of hotkeys/keyboard shortcuts or anything that helps you shave off milliseconds from your workflow}

_{You are fluent in Material, Carbon, Human or other openly available design languages, systems and guidelines}

_{Familiar with Figma, Sketch or any other vector graphics editor (we use Figma)}

Nice to have: 

_{Experience in Financial Services or with complex applications}
