We’re looking for an experienced Lead Product Designer who can design innovative solutions that allow our customers to easily achieve their goals with BetterCloud. We need an energetic, detail-oriented designer who understands how to design, implement, manage, and measure multiple projects.

As the Lead Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for collaborating with other designers, product managers and engineers to deliver design solutions that meet our customers goals. You’ll also define and develop end-to-end experiences and processes, while balancing design details with business impact and technical implementation considerations. The ideal candidate will be strong in both UX/Product Design and visual design and have a portfolio of work demonstrating customer-centric, data informed solutions that are well executed.

About You

• Experience leading design through the development and launch of several successful products
• Proven track record of strategic thinking that shows how you arrive at intelligent design decisions
• Demonstrated experience delivering solutions that achieve measured business results
• Confidence coordinating with product management and engineering teams to understand, craft and implement a design strategy
• Familiarity with design sprinting or rapid prototyping methodologies that quickly deliver incremental product value over time
• Previous experience driving design best practices within your team and the organization
• Mentored and led a team of designers through medium to large scale enterprise design solutions
• Self-starter with an ability to manage multiple design projects in parallel that require not only broad creative leadership, but a comfort in establishing processes and conducting planning

What You’ll Do

• Empower and engage designers to build the team’s design chops over time
• Establish the design vision for the BetterCloud product through the design, implementation and maintenance of a robust design system
• Lead the strategic design, architecture, and development of multiple, highly complex enterprise product features
• Establish and formalize processes to ensure design is part of the product delivery framework
• Be brave and bold to work cross functionally and collaboratively with all parts of the business to drive designs that align with customer goals
• Be honest and forthcoming about challenges and ideas that make us a stronger product
• Facilitate design sprints
