Guild is hiring a Junior Designer. This role will sit on our Employer (B2B) Marketing team and is a unique opportunity to develop existing skills by working on a range of ambitious and innovative projects! 

In particular, we are looking for someone who’s passionate about design and wants to make an impact for Guild’s sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will roll up their sleeves, act as a thought partner in the visual presence of Guild’s brand, and is interested in supporting a growing team with strategic, human-centered design solutions.

As Junior Designer you will:

  • Work alongside our Communications Designer and internal sales + marketing teams to produce compelling content that engages prospective employer partners
  • Assist in the production and execution of assets for print and digital, including presentation decks, social media graphics, file preparation, charts/diagrams, guides, and web imagery
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and help translate creative concepts into high-quality, brand-aligned, and production-ready deliverables according to deadlines
  • Work with content strategists and writers to help create well-integrated designs
  • Contribute to layout, typography and photography decisions
  • Pay exceptional attention to detail, whether the project be small or large
  • Support design thinking activities cross-functionally to absorb knowledge and needed information from stakeholders
  • Communicate, participate, and prepare for design walkthroughs, critiques, and reviews

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic or Digital Media Design, or similar discipline (or significant equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Junior Designer or similar role a plus 
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Powerpoint/Google Slides (bonus if familiar with Sketch, AfterEffects, HTML/CSS) 
  • Online or PDF portfolio showing a wide range of design work
  • A desire and willingness to learn and develop your professional skills
  • A keen eye for detail and understanding of visual elements (typography, layout, etc.) 
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills
  • A drive to work hard and bring your own perspective/experience to your work and the broader team while working in a fast-paced and ever-changing startup

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $50,000-$65,000 as well as company stock options.
