Junior Designer
Inspirato is seeking a versatile, imaginative Jr. Graphic Designer with 1-2 years of agency experience to join our team. This role will work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and create marketing and promotional materials and will have opportunities to work on special team projects and conceive independent projects. The ideal candidate will have a natural creative vision, be interested in the luxury marketplace, and be a strong team player.
This position will play a supporting role in the visual conception and creation of creative initiatives. You will work with the design team to create unique content that is signature to the brand by bringing our luxury look and feel to life. Must be able to work in an exceptionally fast-paced environment and have strong organizational skills.
REPORTS TO: Senior Graphic Designer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualizing and designing print and digital marketing campaigns as well as promotional materials, including but not limited to direct mail, design layouts, email design, and social media
- Working closely with the Art Director to refine designs, incorporate feedback, and route work to internal departments
- Photo researching, as well as retouching and color correction of images.
- Designing presentations for marketing meetings
- Keeping up to date on design trends and marketing news and participating in group brainstorms and discussions
- Ensures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions
- Responds to all requests and communications in a timely and thorough manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of one year of experience in a creative agency setting
- Luxury or hospitality experience a plus
- Excellent design ability, as demonstrated by a stellar portfolio
- Flexible, inquisitive, and eager to learn
- Proven ability to create and revise designs under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with color correction, color theory, retouching, and preparing files for output, both digital and print
- Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of animation (Adobe After Effects) and video editing (Adobe Premiere) preferred
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Solid production skills are a huge plus. You should be able to execute clean, print-ready files
- Bachelor's degree in a design-related field, or similar training
