Instructional Designer
Ibotta is looking for an Instructional Designer to drive data & analytics literacy throughout the organization. Our newly formed and growing Strategic Analytics and Core Data Team provides high-quality, on-time analytics products and services across all business areas and teams within Ibotta. We do this by providing thought leadership, subject matter expertise, evangelism and governance of business-critical data science initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills to effectively communicate cross functionally, have a curiosity about the business, confidently teach the various ways to find, leverage, and analyze data, and value the need for documentation. You will have the challenging and rewarding opportunity to use your skills to develop and deliver robust training to the Ibotta organization.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado or with the option of full-time remote. Candidates must live in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
What you’ll be doing:

- Consult with leadership and subject matter experts to identify professional development opportunities at the organizational level; align with stakeholders regarding technical/functional development needs.
- Design data curriculum with a long-term plan tailored around learning opportunities as they relate to our strategy and data deliverables.
- Build and maintain training resources to reflect the most up-to-date documentation
- Facilitate new hire data & analytics literacy training featuring the ability to teach a self serve mentality; the ability to find, leverage, and analyze data to drive decisions
- Identify skills or knowledge gaps through training courses and attendance feedback; collaborate with leadership to implement effective strategies to close gaps
- Schedule and coordinate continuous developmental courses focused on our teaching and driving the use of our data deliverables.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with instructional design
- Bachelor’s degree in business development, business management, human resources, or a related field
- Curiosity and the commitment to continually ask questions
- Self starter who can take a project and run with it to completion
- Understand the value of driving business decisions through data
- Knowledge and use of modern data visualization tools (Looker, Mode, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience in a technology environment preferred

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, profit sharing and equity.
- Base compensation range: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00. This compensation range is specific only to Colorado and may
