About the Innovation & Incubation Team at FIS

Job description

This role is critical to the success of the innovation & incubation team.  We are starting from scratch, building and investing heavily in creating, defining, and delivering the products and business models that will define the future FIS and fintech landscape. You will build and develop a team of high-performance UX, UI, and visual designers that will rapidly produce visual and interactive prototypes. Working with other innovation & incubation leadership, you will create the interaction and engagement model for your team as concepts move through the innovation discovery process. You will leverage your tech expertise and design talent to produce high-fidelity prototypes for usability testing and market research.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver unique prototypes and relevant experiences that users can intuitively engage
  • Build and manage a team of top-tier UX, UI, and visual designers
  • Develop your iterative prototyping process, including the engagement model, ethnographic and primary/secondary research requirements, and KPIs
  • Communicate the prototype’s vision to other stakeholders, leadership, and potential users
  • Work hands-on whenever needed as we are a growing team and additional resources may not always be available

Requirements

  • Several years of relevant experience in UX, UI, and visual design
  • A solid portfolio of products that you directly worked on
  • Ability to implement human centered design, design principles, and color theory to produce the best aesthetics and simplified user experiences
  • Ability to leverage design thinking when deciding on the right output
  • A love for leading and developing talent
  • Strong bias for action and willingness to get involved in every stage of the discovery process
  • Desire to build your org. from scratch
  • High proficiency with Invision, Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC and other similar design platforms
