Snapdocs needs a Director of Design to lead our design team and set the vision and direction for our Product Design organization and our Visual Design for Branding and Marketing. Not only will you run point on all things design, you will also help with career development and mentorship of our existing team members as well as help us expand and hire more amazing, creative designers! You will ensure that the products we ship are high quality, world class design experiences and you will own the overall end user experience for all of our products. You will make sure that we are utilizing the best design tools available and will develop processes, frameworks and new ways for design to collaborate with other functions. You will partner closely with our Marketing teams to develop a brand strategy and create unified messaging about Snapdocs across multiple platforms. Once you join, you will strive to intimately understand our user segment and become a thought partner for our product vision and strategy while guiding and directing the design team. You will be a representative for the design team with a user first mentality and will be their advocate at the leadership level. 

We are looking for a Director of Design with 10+ years of design experience and 3+ years of experience in a Director level role. Ideally, you have owned a design organization or the design of a large product area. You have extensive experience working on SaaS applications and you are passionate about bringing beautiful and easy to use products to a variety of companies, not just consumer focused ones. Being highly skilled at thinking through complicated workflows and having the ability to showcase that skill through easy to follow visualizations is required. We are a rapidly growing company so first hand experience scaling design teams and knowing how to allocate design resources efficiently and effectively is an important skill to have. You are a strong leader and mentor and are able to provide actionable and thoughtful feedback to foster clear career progression for team members while cultivating a positive work environment.
