Description

Designers are responsible for creating the look and feel of each website, balancing the needs of the client with a design that is compatible with the WordPress theme layer. They ensure that all decisions of color, imagery, texture, tone, and functionality work together to support the objectives of the end-user. Designers work with site builders and developers to create well structured CSS and SASS, which can be easily maintained moving forward and ultimately reusable to draw as a swatch library.  This is a contract position.

Ping pong skills are optional but highly recommended; on-the-job training is available.
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Creating visual design, including typography, concept, and icons for web-based and (rarely) print media.
• Support Sales / Marketing Teams with creative work.
• Produce Creative Assets for Websites, Social Media Campaigns, Landing Pages, Emails, etc.
• Prepping images and files for digital distribution
• Creating mobile or desktop comps based on wireframes and brand style guides
• Ensure brand consistency across digital mediums
• Performing Design QA (Quality Assurance) reviews, analyzing prototypes against design files

Requirements:

• 1 - 3 years of Professional Design Experience (Internships Count!)
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, XD
• Experience working on marketing collateral (Social, Email)
• Understanding of CSS and HTML (You won’t need to write it, just how it works)
• Independent, be able to work with limited guidance
• An exceptional online portfolio
• Attention to details
