Metric Theory is looking to expand our creative service capabilities by hiring a full-time Digital Creative Producer. Reporting to the VP of Creative Services, you will be a trailblazer helping to build the creative offering for a top performance marketing agency. You will partner with our Accounts Services team and alongside clients to develop creative that delights and drives results.

This is a newer service offering for Metric Theory, so you will be on the ground floor of building a team that will grow heftily into the future. We are seeking someone who is a fast, flexible go-getter with a sharp eye, adept skills, and the drive to deliver top-notch creative for our clients.

Creative Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the fulcrum between concept and execution, working closely in collaboration with clients and creative teams of Designers and Editor / Animators.
  • Helping translate creative/client briefs into direct response design, video and animation assets for paid platforms (Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), webpages, email and other digital mediums - both net-new and from existing client materials.
  • You are a people-person and self-starter, who can speak creative in a way that bridges client vision with team collaboration throughout a timely production process.
  • You kickstart new projects by reaching out to the right people at the right time and by being the right person when clients reach out to us -- responding to client briefs and co-creating pitches, treatments and proposals.
  • You are timely and punctual, setting up meetings and acting alongside our in-house creatives from pitch to proposal to delivery. You’re the pacer and peacemaker and guiding oversight on creative projects, principally responsible for timely and exceptional delivery.
  • Scoping and quoting projects to agency rates, as well as establishing and maintaining project schedules.
  • Comfort with copywriting / script development alongside teams and clients.
  • Possessing an understanding of direct response media and creative execution for the sake of performance, along with a willingness to learn paid media strategy generally.

Team Work Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Editor/Animators, Designers, and Copywriters on a variety of deliverables under the Direction of the VP of Creative Services. As part of the team, you’ll collaborate with creative team members nationally.
  • Look after the creative production process and improve the work by offering new angles, best practices and practical solutions -- ensuring projects meet and exceed our standards.
  • Be keen to learn from others and push yourself to make good work into great work.
  • Partner alongside Account & Channel teams in order to find opportunities to foster and grow new opportunities for the agency.
  • Working across teams and time zones to develop design concepts to drive client paid media performance.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years technical experience with creative production (preferably at an agency)
  • Portfolio is required
  • Client-facing communication experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills, exhibited in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep familiarity with short form content and production cadences
  • 4 year college degree (preferably in design) or equivalent work experience

Not a Must, But a Plus:

  • Experience with Facebook/Instagram ad design
  • Experience with banner ad design (IAB standards)
  • Ability to generate Presentation decks (Google Slides, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • B2C and B2B experience
  • Unbounce, Optimizely or other UX/UI experience

Additional Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Creative and can adapt to changing circumstances
  • Can prioritize and work within specific time frames
  • Solid project management and ability to stay organized
  • Openness to team and client feedback
  • Strong time management skills to be effective and efficient

An Insider's view of Metric Theory, A Media.Monks Company

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

One of my favorite things about Metric Theory is the importance that is placed on work life balance. Our senior leaders encourage the use of PTO, and people managers do a great job helping their team prioritize tasks to ensure no one is working late. You never have to feel guilty scheduling a doctor's appointment or taking time for self care.

Hannah

Senior Manager, Digital Strategy

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

I learn so much from other channel leads at MT! I'm constantly asking them questions about strategies that drive strong performance in their channels, and then try to emulate in programmatic. I feel like MT's emphasis on knowledge sharing between teams has really leveled-up my digital marketing skills.

Lexi

Senior Manager, Programmatic & Media

How does the company support your career growth?

The culture here encourages you to take on new and challenging responsibilities with a full system of support. You never know what you're capable of until you try and MT gives you the tools and opportunity to do so.

Jake

Senior Account Manager, Paid Social

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

I encourage my team to be more creative by pushing them to think outside of the box in weekly 1:1 meetings - to think bigger picture. Our weekly meetings with the whole team vary each week and are unrelated to work, and give everyone a moment of reprieve from daily tasks, which allows for more creative thinking.

Jackie

Director, Account Services

What makes someone successful on your team?

A successful team member is collaborative, strategic, and is excited about creative's role in impacting media performance. Eager to give and receive feedback, and comfortable with both big picture ad concepting as well as diving into the minutia of performance ad design best practices.

Hannah

Associate Director, Creative Services
